Ggwangamujje NY/NJ sponsors a number of programs both for its members in the New York and New Jersey regions, and for community development activities in Buganda . These programs include: The Luganda Cultural School  that teaches children and youth Luganda language, culture, norms and history. The Scholarship Fund and Youth Related Activities  for Baganda youth in New York and New Jersey. Clean Water Project  in Uganda for rural populations. Educating Orphans  in Uganda.

In addition, Ggwangamujje NY/NJ arranges educational seminars for its members to discuss issues such as immigration, scholarships, investing and many more.
